Rasta's Caretakers

The Board Members:

Shawn M. Tolhurst, a writer with a B.A. in film who has resided in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 1994.  She helped grow a small and successful contracting company and has participated in the management of small businesses since 1986.  Though Rasta's is a non-profit the principles of business still apply and she hopes her experience can facilitate Rasta's growth and success.    Her novel "All the Pretty Bodies" is under contract with a small publishing company, visit www.rockwaypress.com for more information.


Chandon Banning, a fine artist and photographer, who moved to New Mexico after running an interior design company in Los Angeles.  She has been rescuing and providing homes for pit bulls since the 90's and is a devoted animal advocate working daily on behalf of those in need.  For more on Chandon, please visit her website at www.chandonbanning.com


Melanie Ryan, Attorney at Law and dear friend to Rasta's Rescue Ranch, Inc.  Melanie provided pro-bono services to assist Rasta's with the legal paperwork necessary to apply for our 501 (c) (3) and graciously joined the board of directors.
